ADT Debuts New On-The-Go Emergency Response System Advertisement

The ADT Corporation, a leading provider of security, home automation, and health solutions, today debuted new advertising creative featuring award-winning actor Ving Rhames.

In the commercial, one of several in ADT’s new campaign that launched February 16, Rhames embodies ADT’s new On-The-Go Emergency Response System, a wearable technology that helps America’s growing senior population go about their day-to-day lives with confidence, whether they are at home or around town, while also providing peace of mind to their caregivers.

The new commercial follows a day in the life of an inspiring, active woman as she enjoys her hobbies: knitting, visiting with girlfriends at the beauty salon, baking, and even cutting a rug in her new dancing shoes. And throughout it all – with a little help from Rhames, who represents ADT’s 24/7 professional monitoring – ADT highlights that they’re always there, providing the confidence she needs to live a busy, active life.

“With the new On-The-Go Emergency Response System, we are empowering seniors to live life on their own terms, and reassuring caregivers that their loved ones are cared for and watched over as they go about their day,” said Jerri DeVard, chief marketing officer of ADT. “The difference between a severe or fatal fall can come down to a matter of minutes. In our new campaign, we are highlighting our ability to respond at the moment of truth when help is needed most.”

ADT’s wearable On-The-Go Emergency Response System helps empower America’s seniors to live more active and independent lives. The new solution, which was released in mid-February, operates on a leading nationwide cellular network, boasts connectivity to a specially trained team of ADT Health employees through the company’s 24/7 professional monitoring center, and includes fall detection sensors and GPS location capabilities -- all in a single and easy-to-use wearable device.
