Upper Dublin High School Participates in the FIRST Robotics World Championship

The Upper Dublin High School announced that its robotics team will participate in the FIRST Robotics Competition world championship.

The team entered the championship after receiving the Inspire Award at the Potsdam tournament. The team also won the Inspire Award in 2009 at the same tournament.

The world championship of the FIRST Robotics Competition will be held from 27 to 30, April 2011 in St. Louis. The challenge for this year’s competition is ‘Get Over It.’ Each participating team has to design a robot that has to pass through the obstacles and collect batons. Then, the robot should place the baton on either a higher rotating goal or a lower stationary goal.
