Command Security Purchases iRobot's Ava 500 Video Collaboration Robot

Command Security Corporation announced that it has signed a teaming agreement with iRobot and purchased iRobot's Ava 500 Video Collaboration Robot to explore next-generation staff augmentation through a trial program with Lincoln Property Company.

"Robotic technologies like Ava 500 are an outstanding complement to our traditional security guard and other physical security offerings," said Craig P. Coy, chief executive officer of Command Security Corporation. "This innovative initiative will provide forward-thinking companies a force multiplying capability to protect their valuable assets and human resources."

Command Security is aiming to hold trials in a variety of environments including warehouses, commercial offices, hospitals, airports, manufacturing sites, and education and government facilities. Lincoln Property Company, a respected commercial and residential real estate developer and manager, is working with Command Security to explore suitable product trial site locations within their commercial property portfolio.

"Ava 500 could provide breakthrough security benefits and cost savings for the commercial property management industry. We are happy to explore this innovative offering with the Command Security team," states Rick Barnes, Northeast Security Director of Lincoln Property Company.
