RMT Robotics Launches Programmable Sound System for ADAM Robot

RMT Robotics has released a new sound system for the company’s Autonomous Delivery and Manipulation (ADAM) mobile robot, named ADAM Reactive Audio Playback.

The sound system is programmable and is developed, based on the concept that noise propagation and the droning beep sound of conventional warning systems mandated by major security norms is likely to reduce the attentiveness of laborers who are constantly exposed to the sound.

The new sound system makes alert sounds more efficient by producing different sounds and linking the sounds automatically with the position or performance of a vehicle.

The sound system features musical intermissions or sound bites, communicative voice and ‘text to speech’ messages, which are activated by both active and passive methods in response to multifarious system inputs and functional conditions.
