JBS USA Implements Remote Monitoring System at Beef Plants

JBS USA Holdings’ Beef Division, a subsidiary of JBS S.A, Brazil-based meatpacking firm, has announced that a remote monitoring program will be executed round-the-clock at its eight beef facilities.

Arrowsight, a third-party seller from New York will implement the RVA system to JBS, which focuses on improving the current initiatives in assuring food quality and security as well as animal-dealing tasks by the staff of the plant.

Arrowsight and JBS have partnered to develop and realize the remote monitoring program to enhance the efficiency of line employees on the butchery floor and to reduce problems linked with cross- contagion.

John Ruby, Head of Technical Services for the Beef Division, has stated that the RVA system has enabled them to enhance the precision of their inspection. He added that by ascertaining the performance of their employees and offering them with instant feedback during their work will help their company to persistently evaluate and upgrade their food security systems.
