UT Austin Researchers Develop Sociable Humanoid Head

Researchers at UT Austin's HCR Laboratory along with Meka Robotics have developed a cute and reactive head for the Meka humanoid.

Dreamer Robot

It is named, ‘Dreamer,’ and is not a usual robot head. It has been exclusively developed to communicate with humans by reacting to their emotions and gesticulations.

The researchers refer to the robotic head as a, ‘sociable humanoid head,’ and it is designed based on Anime and cartoon characters.
