US Energy Company Selects Telnet as Robotic Systems Developer

Telnet has declared that it has been selected as an exclusive robotic systems developer by a Houston- based Energy Company. The Tunisian press agency did not disclose the name of the US energy company.

TPA has mentioned that Telnet has been developing e-banking, telecommunications, cars, avionics, multimedia, smart cards and defense systems and at present it is venturing into a new area, termed robotics.

The new robotics facility is developed under the collaboration with the US energy company, and will serve as a part of Telnet’s novel program. The program is developed based on the joint technological abilities of both the companies.

It was reported that Telnet will develop superior solutions in energy-related robotics area, via Tunisia-developed robots and will be promoted worldwide. This can profoundly result in providing innovative solutions for hydrocarbon tanks monitoring requirements, which could not be solved by other technologies.

The partnership has recently signed a contract with the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA). LINKLAB is a general research and development platform, which focuses on releasing combined endeavors in the areas of new energy technologies and ICTs.
