Han-Tek, a global leader in supplying system automation systems, has declared that it has acquired the North Carolina- based PowerLab Control Technologies. This acquirement has enabled Han-Tek to include SCADA and process control abilities in its existing product portfolio.
The integration of PowerLab with the Controls Division of Han-Tek is in progress. Jon Tobin, President of Han-Tek, has stated that acquisition of PowerLab will enable them to extend their abilities and customer service. He added that it also fosters their corporate strategy of offering effective material handling and system automation systems at an affordable cost through ready to use solutions for the manufacture segment.
According to Bobby Cole, Former Owner of PowerLab ,who has become Han-Tek's Controls Division Manager, this acquirement depicts a strong collaboration between both the companies. He added that their clients will benefit out of the strategic integration of PowerLab's computer-based systems and electrical controls with the mechanical abilities and proficiency of Han-Tek.
