Red River to Support Medweb on Telemedicine and Teleradiology Solutions

New Hampshire-based Red River, a leading information technology (IT) services provider, announced a partnership today between Red River Healthcare and Medweb, an industry-leading telemedicine, teleradiology, and mobile health company.

Red River will work with Medweb on support for a variety of telemedicine and teleradiology solutions. Proven Telemedicine applications widely adopted today include the use of live video conferencing, transmission of still and video images from scopes and other diagnostic equipment, and remote monitoring. These initiatives will be distributed to customers through Medweb’s relationship with Ingram Micro Inc., the world’s largest wholesale technology distributor, and Red River.

“Teaming with Medweb builds out our targeted IT solutions for our customers and offers a crucial service in the delivery of web-enabled, secure telemedicine,” said Charlie Franco, director of Red River Healthcare. “As telemedicine becomes more prevalent in everyday medical care facilities, we’re excited to offer Medweb’s industry leading solutions to provide instant communications between doctors, specialists, and patients in remote locations.”

In addition to Medweb’s core offerings in teleradiology and telemedicine, Medweb also offers applications in emergency management, to include disaster response, public health, satellite communications, and renewable power solutions, such as solar.

“Medweb and Red River share an understanding of the use of pioneering technology in healthcare IT,” said Amy Window, Medweb National Sales Director. “We’re excited to work with Red River to help drill down on the needs of medical care facilities across the country and provide the best solutions in telemedicine to their customers.”
