Adept Technology, Inc., a provider of intelligent vision-guided robotics and global robotics services, has announced it is exhibiting at the EMBALLAGE show in Paris Nord Villepinte in France from November 22 -- 25, 2010. The Adept PAC, featuring the company's high-speed parallel robot, Adept Quattro(TM) is on display in stand 5a B 087 at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre.
With a comprehensive portfolio of high-performance motion controllers, application development software, vision-guidance technology and high-reliability robot mechanisms with autonomous capabilities, Adept provides specialized, cost-effective robotics systems and services to high-growth markets including Packaging, Medical, Disk Drive/Electronics, and Solar; as well as to traditional industrial markets including machine tool automation and automotive components. It has now released the new platform, Adept PAC.
This new platform enables customers to deploy advanced high-speed primary packaging applications with conveyor-tracking and vision guidance with operating costs of less than $5 an hour, setting a new standard for total cost of ownership. The platform overcomes many of the previous barriers to adapting high-speed, flexible robotic automation by offering equipment that adheres to many of the most stringent cleanliness food production requirements.
Addressing some of the long standing challenges associated with flexible automation, such as deployment time and integration cost, Adept PAC was developed through the knowledge and domain expertise gained in the process of obtaining USDA-acceptance for our Quattro s650HS. By bundling numerous building blocks such as vision, easily navigated operator interfaces, and a thoughtfully designed frame into a well defined package, the Adept PAC stands to reduce delivery, integration and overall deployment times.
