OMNIMETRIX, LLC, an Acorn Energy company, will mark its ninth appearance at the NACE International Show March 17-21. "We will be introducing our new 4G enabled product lines for anti-corrosion monitoring control at the world's largest corrosion show.
By developing 4G enabled devices now, our customers will be safely transitioned to the latest technology long before legacy systems are phased out," said Deena Redding , President & CEO of OMNIMETRIX.
With over 2 million miles of pipeline in the gas transportation system and a shortage of engineers, technicians, and funding to provide adequate manpower to ensure safe monitoring, OMNIMETRIX's complete line of Cathodic Protection products provide a viable solution to monitor pipeline integrity 24/7.
The Rectifier Monitor measures and reports the voltage and current being directly applied to the steel pipeline by the rectifier. It also contains a remotely programmable interrupter. The battery powered Computer Automated Test Station (CATS) measures and reports the actual voltage at specific points along the pipeline to determine the variation and pinpoint vulnerable areas. The CATS can also measure the characteristics of an unprotected steel coupon for a complete diagnostic picture for pipeline corrosion protection. Both products take readings at programmable intervals and send them to OMNIMETRIX servers. The measurements are stored indefinitely for later review. If readings are outside customer defined limits, alerts can be sent via text or email.
America has the world's largest and oldest pipeline network. OMNIMETRIX continues to thrive in providing industry leading digital solutions for pipeline monitoring that can help the industry maintain and expand this network safely, reliably and affordably.
