Braintech Supplies Vision Guided Robotics Systems to Ford

Braintech, a global leader in Vision guided robotics (VGR) systems, has declared the delivery of three TrueView VGR systems to Ford’s engine casting facility located in Cleveland, Ohio.

TrueView represents a three-dimensional vision-enabled robotics system utilized in the automotive manufacturing and assembling industries. It is a combination of technological proficiency of ABB and VGR solutions of Braintech.

Braintech has reported that the procurement orders of Ford follow impending and fulfilled installations of VGR systems at six other Blue Oval production plants. The various systems utilized by Ford Powertrain process multiple part styles include housings, blocks, heads, manifolds and converters. They support adaptable automation in assembly, machining and material dealing sectors. They were previously included in the engine manufacture facilities of Ford and currently being utilized in multiple transmission plants.
