Alaska Air Carriers Association Symposium to Showcase Halberd UAS

Halberd Corporation -- As a result of Halberd Corporation's partnership with the Unmanned Vehicle University we are proud to announce the delivery of its Shadow series airframe on February 13th to UVU, this airframe retails for $14,999.00.

This airframe will be showcased at the Alaska Air Carriers Association Symposium in Anchorage, Alaska. The FAA has indicated that Alaska will be the first state approved for commercial UAS systems. UVU in 2012 had 150 students enrolled in the University's Master's and Doctorate programs. Halberd will shortly begin to deliver airframes for their estimated 2013 enrollment of 200 students. Courses from Unmanned Systems Engineering to Unmanned Autonomous Systems will use the Shadow for training and hands on practical use applications. The Shadow series was designed specifically for testing and development of all technologies on a robust and inexpensive airframe without putting at risk expensive airframes.

Reuben Lowing, President, is proud to have this type of exposure with UVU, "We are excited about getting our product in the hands of UVU students where they will become familiar with the company products and our innovative designs early in their careers." Mr. Lowing also commented on the opportunity to be viewed by Aerospace Industry Leaders attending the AACA event, "With Alaska being the first state where commercial application of UAS will be authorized by the FAA, it is significant exposure for the company's brand."
