Health Robotics Signs Agreement with Beckman Automation

Health Robotics has declared that it has signed a major distribution contract with Beckman Automation for its CytoCare, i.v.STATION, and i.v.SOFT pharmacy automation systems.

This marks Health Robotics’ expansion into the 12th new nation this year for realizing its mission of offering safe and low-cost Intravenous (IV) Admixture Compounding Automation to medical centers located all over the world.

Tom Beckman, CEO of Beckman Automation AS, has stated that he was so impressed by the patented technological innovations of Health Robotics when he personally observed the performance of the Cytocare robot at TOSHO, Tokyo. He added that their company is determined to promote and deliver CytoCare, i.v.STATION, and i.v.SOFT in the Norwegian market, thereby enabling to offer enhanced patient care via reliable workflow in the IV room.

Cytocare robotic system is deployed for the preparation of dangerous IV Admixtures like Monoclonal Antibody Therapy, Chemotherapy and Gene Therapy under sterile conditions. Till date, 56 Cytocare robots have been installed in 17 nations. Also it has proved its unparalleled adaptability towards multifarious proprietary IV consumables and pharmacy workflows in four continents.

Gaspar DeViedma, Executive VP, Health Robotics, expressed his happiness in partnering with Beckman Automation for introducing its high-end innovations in Norway.
