Health Robotics has declared that it has signed a major distribution contract with Beckman Automation for its CytoCare, i.v.STATION, and i.v.SOFT pharmacy automation systems.
This marks Health Robotics’ expansion into the 12th new nation this year for realizing its mission of offering safe and low-cost Intravenous (IV) Admixture Compounding Automation to medical centers located all over the world.
Tom Beckman, CEO of Beckman Automation AS, has stated that he was so impressed by the patented technological innovations of Health Robotics when he personally observed the performance of the Cytocare robot at TOSHO, Tokyo. Cytocare robotic system is deployed for the preparation of dangerous IV Admixtures like Monoclonal Antibody Therapy, Chemotherapy and Gene Therapy under sterile conditions. Till date, 56 Cytocare robots have been installed in 17 nations.
