Advanced Robotic Radiosurgery for Tumor Treatment

Premier Cancer Centers Dallas brings the latest advancement in non-invasive robotic radiosurgery systems to North Texas. Opening spring of 2013, the Center will offer both Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS/SBRT) and Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) in one location. With these technologies, Cancer Has Met Its Match!

Premier Cancer Centers Dallas is bringing the first CyberKnife® M6™ Series to Texas. The M6 is the latest technological advancement in robotic radiosurgery capable of treating tumors anywhere in the body. The CyberKnife M6 featuring the InCise™ Multileaf Collimator combines the benefits of beam shaping with the flexibility of multi point delivery. This state of the art technology delivers unmatched clinical capabilities and expands the number of patients eligible for treatment.

The new CyberKnife M6 InCise™ Multileaf Collimator can treat tumors more efficiently by sculpting a single beam of radiation to match the exact contour of the tumor, minimizing the amount of radiation to the surrounding healthy tissues and reducing patient treatment times.

Premier Cancer Centers Dallas' CyberKnife M6 includes the Synchrony System®, the most advanced image guidance technology on the market today. This technology enables the CyberKnife M6 Series' to compensate for body movement during treatment. Allowing for greater accuracy in delivering a single beam of radiation to the tumor reducing the effect on healthy tissue affected.

Select tumors can be treated with the CyberKnife M6 in five treatments or less, with a lower risk of complications, instead of the typical 40 treatment protocol.
