ISR Group and Vanguard Defense Industries have entered into an exclusive agreement. Under this contract, ISR Group will extend flight operations, operator training, and maintenance services on behalf of Vanguard Defense’s Shadowhawk unmanned aircraft system platform.
This agreement will benefit U.S. and NATO Forces, and other government agencies with unmanned vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) systems. Furthermore, it will continue to allow advances in unmanned VTOL technology within the private sector supporting commercial applications.
The Shadowhawk Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) is regularly being used in the U.S. and worldwide. It offers actionable information in real-time for places having limited manned resources. Featured with multiple payloads, the Shadowhawk VTOL UAS is capable of extending live-streaming information either at higher altitudes with increased endurance and wider areas of surveillance or in low altitudes for detailed inspections.
The Shadowhawk VTOL UAS serves to be a safe as well as affordable solution for collecting high-resolution imagery and other data that can be used for inspecting vital natural resources and infrastructure, in national security interests, and for investigating disaster damage, thus eliminating the need for additional personnel.
According to ISR Group Founder and CEO, Alfred Lumpkin, ISR Group and Vanguard Defense Industries will jointly provide the military and government agencies with intelligence-gathering capabilities, thereby mitigating the need for heavy financial investments in growing technology.
The CEO of Vanguard Defense Industries, Michael Buscher commented that the collaboration of two companies will create revolutionary true turn-key solution to UAS operations which will benefit its clients.
