DENSO Robotics has declared that a new robot video can now be viewed on its YouTube channel. It is also available in the DENSO Robotics website.
Featuring live demonstrations from the DENSO booth at Munich-based Automatica 2012, the video also highlights DENSO’s latest technology. The video shows DENSO’s new VS-Series six-axis articulated robots an also its advanced RC8 controller. Boasting a smaller footprint of just 11.75 x 18.00” and 3.75” of height, the RC8 controller ensures expanded functionality and advanced communication features.
According to Peter Cavallo, robotics sales manager at DENSO, the exceptional features of the company’s robots in action will be reflected through this video. This revolutionary demonstration showcases the high precision and high speed of DENSO’s new VS robots to its customers.
The video accentuates a new VS-Series robot that plays air hockey on par with a human opponent. It represents instant “reflexes” of a high-speed robot armed with a high-speed vision system.
Another demonstration represents two VS robots that optimize their movements to maneuver a toy slot car from one constantly alternating section of airborne track to the other, without allowing it to run off the track. The robots highlight the efficiency of DENSO's b-CAP binary controller access protocol to support the adoption of real-time path planning and respond quickly to fluctuating environmental or process conditions.
DENSO has over 16,000 DENSO robots being created and adopted in its own manufacturing facilities. Over 60,000 DENSO robots are provided for use in global companies. DENSO Robotics offers comprehensive line of robots, controllers and software for extensive applications.
