Actroid-F Robot - World's First True Android

Actroid - F is a Japanese robot with the most human facial expressions ever created. Developed by Kokoro Co Ltd and ATR it was unveiled at the AIST Lab Fair.

It is being called the world's first true android by all those who have seen it in action at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology.

The robot is the sister to the Geminoid F robot and they both share the same face. Actroid F has been designed to be used in hospitals and other areas where natural human to human communication is common.

The robot can move its eyes, open and close its mouth, tilt its head, nod, smile, replicate breathing and being Japanese, bow. The robot is said to be frighteningly real in its facial expressions.
