QUAN Intends to Supply Highly Efficient Robot Actuators

Quantum International is progressing to revolutionize biological concepts into robotic ones that will enable creation and development of advanced, cost-effective practical robots for deployment on a daily basis.

The integrated synchronized function of human and animal organ systems and tissues allows Quantum to create potential innovation. Robotic actuation will pave way for promoting the competence of biological actuation that involves effective combination of bones, muscles, and tendons. High-efficient actuator technologies serve as a boon to robotics systems, in addition to actuated systems like prosthetic limbs.

According to Quantum CEO Robert Federowicz, the evolution of natural selection has supported the development of well-designed natural actuators of high efficiency. Learning nature will give rise to the highly-anticipated new innovations in the robotics market.

Quantum is working on a definitive agreement with Poland-based prestigious robotics innovators ‘Poland’s Industrial Research Institute for Automation and Measurements’ (PIAP). PIAP focuses on robots that perform dexterous missions by mimicking animal movements and biology. The complex tasks to name a few include copying a mosquito to clean up oil spills and imitating a snake for crawling within confined spaces.

Federowicz added that PIAP creates several new technologies for potential commercialization. Furthermore, the company anticipates making these innovations available on market.

Quantum International operates along with Medtronic, Intuitive Surgical, iRobot, and Dover to create and establish advanced robotics technology to contend within the growing global industry.
