Press Event on Sensor Systems for Robotics and Unmanned Vehicle Applications

A press event will be conducted at the Association for Unmanned vehicle Systems International North America (AUVSI 2012) Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, USA by PNI Sensor on August 7 who will demonstrate field-proven applications for its TRAX Attitude& Heading Reference System (AHRS), which is a consistent, precise and economical sensor system for land, water and unmanned vehicle and robotic applications.

The Trax AHRS module provides precise heading and tilt readings, even during movement or when encountered with magnetic interference. Since we are depending largely on robots and unmanned systems in real-world conditions, it is essential to accurately know where they are and in which direction they are heading. This Trax AHRS module has been designed to obtain accurate, real-world direction and location data overcoming magnetic interference impact, which causes convention AHRS to spin out of control. This module helps robots to perform complicated tasks inside buildings, moving objects and across metal detritus landscapes and unknown matter.

PNI belongs to the AUVSI and will exhibit its range of products at AUVSI 2012 at Booth #3560.

The Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems (AUVSI) is a leading nonprofit organization committed to enabling advancements in robotics and unmanned systems.

PNI Sensor is an expert in the science of manufacturing orientation and pinpoint heading modules for military, consumer, oceanographic and scientific communities. The company has been involved in patented sensor research and offers consistent magnetic sensor systems, which include attitude and heading reference systems (AHRS) and advanced compass modules. The precise sensors offered by PNI Sensor are used in survey, navigation, consumer electronics and automotive applications.
