Quantum International, an emerging robotics company, recently declared that the innovators of iPhone and iPad-controlled advanced robots are now the company’s target. iPad and iPhone fall under Apple mobile devices.
Apple smartphones and tablets have been designed by integrating sensors, display, processing power, and network connectivity functions. This innovative combination results in powerful robotic brains being packed to a mobile device. Based on this novel technology, several innovations have been recently achieved in robotics. The strong leadership of Quantum promotes further advancement in capitalizing on the future innovation of the revolutionary automatons.
According to Quantum CEO Robert Federowicz, the revolutionary iPhone and iPad products have established their own market. Similar achievement is anticipated with the robotics innovations by employing the same technology.
Parrot's AR.Drone 2.0 quadrocopter and Orbotix’s Sphero toy are the latest contemporary products that have been found to contain ample potential for mobile devices as robotics interfaces. Quantum International is now investigating to gain acquisition and also to enter into joint venture with early-stage developers with potential to create new robotics innovations based on Apple’s user-friendly mobile technology.
Quantum has started exploring potentially beneficial new robotics targets across the world. Recently, Quantum signed a letter of intent and initiated due diligence toward a definitive deal with Poland-based Industrial Research Institute for Automation and Measurements (PIAP). The company anticipates rapid growth by working with leading robotics companies such as Intuitive Surgical, Honda Motor, and AeroVironment.
