Pack Expo 2010 to Include Smurfit-Stone’s Automated Solutions

Smurfit-Stone Container has announced that it will showcase its complete lifecycle packaging products at the Pack Expo, which will be held in Chicago between October 31 and November 3.

The company has reported that John Eaton, VP of packaging solutions for Smurfit-Stone's Automated Packaging Systems (APS) group will be present at booth #2253 to converse on the holistic approach of their company in offering a complete range of packaging solutions for its clients.

Smurfit-Stone will display its Meta product line of packaging equipments, including Meta Wrap-8 and Meta cases. The Meta cases have diagonally joint corners resulting in enhanced piling with less fiber demands. Extra high-impact graphics is enabled by the panels of the cases for exact delineation.

Eaton has stated that their light-weight Meta cases include minimum fiber without affecting the strength of the container. He added that their Meta products were developed to enhance capabilities, lower product impairment and reduce labor and material cost overheads.
