QComp Technologies declared that its exclusive product line has been upgraded with the latest addition of newly improved Solo Case Packer. The original Robotic Solo Case Packer of QComp was developed to conserve space and pack individual products within shipping containers having up to 30 layer picks per minute.
QComp has developed a complete system based on two conveyers, one with product and another lined with packing cases. The system provides efficiency and ease of use. As organizations target on flexibility and adaptation, QComp Robotic Engineers will enhance the robot's capability to be compatible with this new design.
Application engineer at QComp, Greg Wheeler stated that the company intends creating simple operator adjustments, yet powerful flap containment device. This robust flap containment device makes the process highly efficient and seamless by protecting the packaging process against intervention from the outer flaps of the case. The single point guide rail adjustment offers changeovers a simple turn.
The new Solo Case Packer design equips each variable within the system with quick changeover features. The simple changeover system uses automated or quick change parts to minimize the manual efforts needed for operators to create adjustments for varied size products. Even the end-of-arm tooling is ideal for quick effortless alterations.
