Microscan has declared that it will showcase its latest machine vision and auto ID product line in Hall 6, Booth D43 at Vision 2010, which will be held at the Stuttgart New Exhibition Centre, Germany, from November 9 to 11. The products to be demonstrated include hardware and software components of machine vision, auto barcode products and machine vision lighting.
Andrew Zosel, Global Vice President of Marketing, Microscan has stated that the launch of latest lighting, auto ID and vision products clearly indicate the integration of machine vision and auto ID technologies. He said that the latest products and security recalls have highlighted the requirement for detecting ability offered by the auto ID systems as well as controlling and monitoring machine vision systems.
The latest range of Microscan machine vision products are NERLITE HI-BRITE, VS-1 Track and Trace, Visionscape 4.1 and software with color matching. The NERLITE HI-BRITE offers the best-class LED lighting with a simple web-based controller. The VS-1 Track and Trace offers entire vision inspection solutions for packaging and medical applications. It features a smart camera, integrated lighting and robust machine vision tools to assess barcodes, text confirmation and package monitoring. Visionscape is a machine vision software which can be utilized for smart cameras as well as GigE solutions. This software can be scaled up according to the requirements and its 4.1 version embraces latest aspects like color splitting, enabling the application of other tools in a distinct color plane and color matching which is utilized in rapid applications like parts categorization.
The latest audio ID product line includes enhanced solutions for single and two dimensional barcode reading, like QX Hawk industrial imager with a resolution of 3 mega pixel in the MINI Hawk compact imager.
