The ABB IRB 360 FlexPicker robot has been chosen by KLEENLine, a designer and constructor of ultra-sanitary food manufacturing equipment, for its new KLEENPick series high-speed robotic food picking systems.
Featuring FlexPicker’s IP69k stainless steel version, the KLEENPick series is specifically designed to eliminate microbiological contamination in food processing, enabling overall safety and sanitation while handling and packaging of open food. The FlexPicker is the market’s unique delta robot, which is available in stainless washdown, washdown, and cleanroom versions with high-ratings like IP69K. It has been hygienically designed for carrying out packaging applications with open food including ready-made meals, meat, and dairy products. The robot has been crafted and fabricated to facilitate simple cleaning procedures and easy maintenance. It is being offered in a range of various configurations to comply with the requirement standards based on sanitation, payload, working range and performance. A smaller footprint accommodates major production space, wherein the system can be constructed or just retrofitted into existing or new production lines. KLEENPick is the first high-speed robotic picking system of KLEENLine that complements its remarkable potential in the conveying equipment segment and in handling stainless steel materials.
Available as a single robot, single product in-feed cell, as well as a multiple in-feed, multiple robot manufacturing system, the KLEENPick series is fully configurable to fulfill individual requirements. It is being offered in both tubular and round stainless steel construction.
For its Channel Partner Program, ABB recently included KLEENLine as a new system integrator.
