Adept Technology, a supplier of autonomous mobile solutions and intelligent robots, will once again take part in the National robotics event scheduled from April 9 to 17, 2012, marking the third annual National Robotics Week.
This major national event accentuates the significance of robotics education, innovation and research by conducting community events across the country, throughout a week. Adept will be taking part in the celebrations on April 11 and 14 at the Stanford Robot Block Party and at the Boston Museum of Science Robot Block Party, respectively.
According to the President and CEO of Adept Technology, John Dulchinos, every year, Adept awaits the NRW event. The company’s recent advancements in robotics for automation and material handling will be introduced to the Bay Area and Boston communities with Robot Block Parties serving as a platform for the exhibition. Adept anticipates illustrating the growing potential of robotics market, besides encouraging the next generation of professionals to develop interest in the study of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), thereby increasing the number of experts in the field of robotics.
Adept, together with Silicon Valley Robotics, will celebrate the third annual Robot Block Party on April 11 at Stanford University. During this event, innovative robotics technology from major robotics companies, organizations, schools will be exhibited. Adept will represent and demonstrate the recent advancements in its intelligent mobile platform technology such as the Adept Courier, which is being implemented for material transport within and across hospitals and factories.
Adept will also participate at the Boston Museum of Science's Robot Block Party on the east coast, scheduled on April 14th. Demonstrations will be conducted on the robots’ proficiency in next-generation agriculture, safety, national security, healthcare, and home. Museum visitors can have a closer look at Adept MT400 robot. Visitors with Exhibit Halls admission can participate in this event.
