The Robotics Education and Competition Foundation (REC Foundation) hosts a series of dynamic, technology-based programs by combining the national community schools, students, and mentors.
National REC Foundation programs encompass the BEST Robotics, VEX Robotics Competition for middle school, high school and college students, the Technology Student Association (TSA) VEX Robotics Competition and BotBall.
The TSA VEX Robotics Competition is being conducted to inspire the students of the middle and high school in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education. By hosting a lively head-to-head robotics contest, the students’ interest in STEM areas will be improved giving rise to technological pioneers. Furthermore, it triggers the TSA-hosted technological competitive events for middle and high school levels.
Following the recent TSA state conferences, the TSA VEX Robotics Gateway tournaments are being conducted with several participants from various states. The teams anticipate winning the VEX Robotics Championship event at the 2012 national TSA conference, scheduled from 21-25 June 2012 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Around 300 TSA-VEX Robotics Competition teams are preparing to participate in the forthcoming spring events.
Furthermore, the teams at TSA VEX Robotics are expecting to win at the VEX Robotics Competition World Championship, scheduled between April 18 and 21, 2012 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.
Selective teams from over 230 VEX Robotics Competition tournaments will participate at the 2012 VEX Robotics Competition World Championship.
