Adept Technology, a supplier of autonomous mobile solutions and intelligent robots, declared that it will participate at the CFIA Rennes 2012 show in Rennes, France. At the show, Adept will display its solutions for high-speed packaging and material handling applications.
The three-day show ‘Parc des Expositions de Rennes’ is one of the massive agribusiness event that focuses on the food processing industry. It emphasizes the entire supply chain, starting from raw products to final packaging for commercialization.
Adept Technology will demonstrate an intelligent packaging automation cell packing baked confections at rapid rates. The cell has been optimized for accelerated primary packaging applications entailing flexibility, high throughputs, and compliance to hygiene standards. The packaging cell is connected to the Adept Quattro s650HS parallel robot, a USDA-accepted robot.
At the show, Adept will also display a material handling cell that includes an Adept Cobra s600 SCARA robot handling packed chewing gum. Adept’s powerful controller called ultra-compact Adept SmartController CX motion controller directs the Adept Cobra s-series SCARA robots having reach ranging between 350 and 800 mm.
The CFIA Rennes show serves as a platform where elite visitors from all disciplines will gather. It includes 1,300 exhibitors and 200 businesses pioneering in innovation. CFIA is considered as a major representative of French expertise in agribusiness. In the 2011 three-day event, over 12,258 visitors participated, representing an amicable business environment. CFIA is therefore a major, resourceful event, promoting various fields of businesses.
