St. David's North Austin Medical Center’s Texas Institute for Robotic Surgery recently declared that it has entered into a partnership with three Texas hospitals to devise an initiative that will improve the method of patient service while conducting da Vinci robotic surgery, thereby ensuring better patient care.
The partners for Texas Institute for Robotic Surgery include Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare in El Paso, Methodist Stone Oak Hospital in San Antonio and Medical City in Dallas.
As part of the initiative, the affiliation of Texas Institute for Robotic Surgery with its three dynamic partners is a unique activity that integrates the skill and knowledge of surgeons and medical team members of the partners, thereby enhancing the delivery of care for patients undergoing da Vinci surgical procedures.
The process of on-boarding of member hospitals is being carried out by the Texas Institute for Robotic Surgery at St. David's North Austin Medical Center. The process includes data collection and analysis of the Texas Institute and also its three affiliate hospitals, which will contribute to designing the first multi-specialty hospital with multi-system performance analysis while providing treatment with da Vinci surgical services ensuring superior patient care.
The analysis of data will be carried out at the Texas Institute for Robotic Surgery, coupled with a performance enhancement implementation program in each facility. The performance enhancement implementation program along with the integrated capabilities of data analysis and data acquisition will enable affiliate hospitals to bring about resourceful transformations.
In addition, the Texas Institute for Robotic Surgery has formulated regular forums for the affiliate hospitals to participate and benefit from the innovative sharing of ideas, thereby developing improvements in process.
