Advanced Defense Technologies (ADTI) has recently declared that it will carry out the development of the major ‘Seek and Avoid System’ technology for its advanced UAVs and drones.
With the latest technology development, there will be considerable improvements in the function of short and long range drones/UAVs, thereby making them effective for applications in homeland security or military. The civilian safety in the commercial markets will be increased. The software and hardware engineers of ADTI, together with the scientists at Texas A&M University have contributed to the development of this technology.
ADTI is known for its compact antenna designs, effective beam steering technology and novel integration techniques to establish commercial drone and UAV systems employing seek and avoid technology. These features will contribute to the technology development. Extensive production of drone and UAV utility relies on adequate avoidance, detect, and sense competence, thereby avoiding collisions with aircrafts and structures. The team at ADTI has been striving to optimize intelligence. It also intends to integrate seek and avoid capabilities in reconnaissance, surveillance, and communication systems, thereby developing next-generation drones and UAVs with advancements to its technology.
According to the President and CEO of Advanced Defense Technologies, R.S. Tahim, the company will demonstrate a rapid progress by incorporating the ‘seek and avoid system’ in defense as well as in commercial applications. The project is a resultant of the combined effort of ADTI’s hardware and software engineers and the scientists at Texas A&M University. This technology development will offer advanced mission-ready drones and UAVs for commercial use, military and homeland defense applications.
