Robotic Surgery Expert Praises New Efforts on Prostate Cancer Awareness

A U.S. prostate cancer surgeon, Dr. David Samadi is an expert in robotic surgery and robotic prostatectomy, and is the driving force behind the development of international prostate cancer treatment capabilities across the world. The Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF) is currently working to eliminate prostate cancer beyond U.S.

DR. SAMADI Dr. Samadi is the Vice Chairman, Department of Urology, and the Chief of Robotics and Minimally Invasive Surgery at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. As a board-certified urologist and an oncologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of urologic diseases, kidney cancer, bladder cancer, and prostate cancer, he also specializes in many advanced minimally invasive treatments for prostate cancer, including his newest robotic surgery procedure, SMART Surgery.

Since 20 years, PCF is committed to raising funds for prostate cancer research projects globally. It implements PSA screenings, prostate cancer awareness and related technological services.

The newly-established PCF China anticipates hosting ‘The First Annual PCF China Scientific Symposium’ next month at the Peking University Wu Jieping Urology Center. In this event, prostate cancer experts from all over the world will participate to consider the innovative prostate cancer prevention and treatment procedures.

PCF China has been established with intent to eradicate prostate cancer deaths, increasing the patient survival and further improving the availability of PCF worldwide.
