Microscan, a machine vision, barcode and lighting solutions provider has announced its participation at the IPACK-IMA trade show being held in Milan from 28 February to 3 March, 2012. Microscan will demonstrate the machine vision products for tracking, tracing and monitoring critical data at booth number A84 located in Hall 11.
Product verification is crucial for food and beverage, consumer goods and pharmaceutical packaging industries. The machine vision and barcode technology developed by Microscan can monitor the vital information and track the production information, guide goods movement, check quality of the label, ensure correct labeling and lot tracking.
Microscan will demonstrate 2D data matrix and linear code reading, symbol quality reporting as well as verification at the trade show, along with live demonstration of its AutoVISION suite. The AutoVISION range of machine vision products includes the Vision HAWK and Vision MINI cameras along with the AutoVISION machine vision software interface. Developed to enable users to set-up and deploy the machine vision applications, the technology provides reliable inspection and identification.
Microscan’s I-PAK packaging inspection solution has been designed to fulfill the pharmaceutical industry’s requirements for accurate, reliable and verified inspection of the labels and the packaged products. The applications of the I-PAK inspection system include component ID verification, lot/ date code verification, and other product and label inspections such as sell-by date, batch data, label ID and NDC.
At the IPACK-IMA trade show, Microscan will also showcase the C-Mount lens configuration developed for the Vision HAWK smart camera and the QX HAWK imager.
