Somfy Systems, a company specializing in motors for exterior and interior window coverings, will take part in the 2012 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) to be held from 10 to 13 January in Las Vegas.
The company will launch a number of products and technologies at the CES tradeshow. These technologies will make home automation more accessible, intuitive and compatible across various platforms
Products to be featured at the tradeshow include ZigBee Digital Motor Interface, TaHomA, Glydea ZigBee Plug-In Module and Glydea Z-Wave Plug-In Module.
The TaHomA is a complete home automation system that allows users to control motorized window coverings, thermostats and lights. The company will demonstrate the TaHomA iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch apps as well as advanced remote monitoring capabilities at the tradeshow.
The ZigBee Digital Motor Interface combines the company’s series of digital motors into third party ZigBee home automation solutions. Smart digital motor technology offers updates on real-time motor position status and provides two-way communication, giving users to control their motorized window coverings via automation systems.
The Glydea Z-Wave Plug-In Module and the Glydea ZigBee Plug-In Module offer a complete control of Somfy motorized draperies through Z-Wave and ZigBee, respectively including close, open, stop and the “My” position.
