Korea Electronics Fair Features Cleaning and Lining Robots

The Robot IT department at the Korea Electronics Grand fair showcases Robogen’s Ecowin-RC and Ecowin-RL for washing and lining worn-out drainpipes.

Ecowin-RC Cleaning Robot

Ecowin-RC eliminates scaly and rusted layers from the pipes by means of high-pressure water jets and offers a proficient surface treatment for linings. Depending upon the degree of corrosion, the pressure of the water-jet can be adjusted and damages to the drainpipes can be averted by manipulating the number of revolutions per minute.

Ecowin-RL is a spin cast system featuring a revolving nozzle and it ejects the lining film constituents uniformly inside the drainpipe. The spraying speed and thickness of the lining can be controlled by the robot.

All these procedures can be observed, remotely controlled and assessed instantaneously. The event also features Ecowin-Smart Inpipe Mapping System (Ecowin-Sims) which helps to find out the correct location and path of the drainpipe by acquiring the third dimension geographical location information from which exact 3D GIS information can be obtained.
