INSYS Aero and RoderPrazision have entered into an agreement for the development of unmanned systems for use in military and civil applications. INSYS Aero is a supplier of avionics, communication, security and control systems. RoderPrazision is into the manufacturing of sea and air-based unmanned systems.
Typically, unmanned systems are used in military applications; recently civil applications of unmanned systems are on the rise. UAVs are used in surveillance and reconnaissance missions. They offer better safety features at reduced costs during military operations. They protect military personnel on such missions by venturing into dangerous situations without compromising on personnel safety. Unmanned systems need to operate to fulfil high security needs and at the same time be light in weight. They should also be capable of supporting sensor and control related data transmission over long distances via remote controls. Both the companies will be concentrating on developing UAVs that meet the above requirements.
INSYS Aero specialises in the development and manufacture of robust, fast and solutions that are compatible with the network-telemetry systems. The UAV systems manufactured at INSYS are capable of housing video, sensor and avionic devices. For communicating the captured data INSYS has made use of the sitcom systems, WLAN, UMTS and microwave links.
