Taipei Flora Expo to Feature Asustek’s Robotic Flowers

Asustek Computer has announced that it will display its Florabot at the 2010 Taipei International Flora Expo in the Pavilion of Dreams which will be held from November 6, 2010 to April 25, 2011.

The company has reported that Florabot embraces several hundreds of robotic flowers with sensory capabilities and when any visitor comes near it the robot will respond by giving off lights and sounds, thereby offering an interactive and communicative demonstration.

It was reported that the company had worked on the Florabot for a year in order to provide a stunning display at the Flora Expo. In addition to Florabot, other products to be showcased by Asustek include servers, supercomputers and desktops.
