CoreLink Data Centers has entered into an agreement with InTouch Health for providing support to the cloud-based network communication infrastructure. Physicians conduct remote consultations with their patients located at clinics, homes, ambulances, patient wards and procedure rooms through the cloud-based network from InTouch.
The communication through the network is done with the help of a remote presence robotic system from InTouch which is driven by SureConnect, a cloud based infrastructure. Through the network, physicians are able to view images and documentation related to the patient at situations where face-to-face interaction is not possible.
The cloud-based communication connects physicians at more than 400 hospitals spread across the world with patients in order to provide a number of medical services ranging from stroke treatment, trauma to paediatric services. Since the system connects physicians with patients located in other countries it also provides language translation options. CoreLink will be providing continuous support to the infrastructure under the Uptime Service Level Agreement with InTouch, which encompasses all the infrastructure elements between data centers in Chicago, Seattle, Las Vegas and Phoenix. The CEO of CoreLink emphasised on the HIPAA compliance of the security provided by infrastructure support.
