GeckoSystems Sets New Assembly Line for Carebot Robot Trials

GeckoSystems, a developer of mobile service robots, has declared the addition of a new assembly line in their Research and Development centre and the procurement of vital subsystems and machinery for expanding their current Carebot trial tests. Carebots are companion robots developed for helping the elderly.

Martin Spencer, President/CEO, GeckoSystems has stated that their company has recruited a mechanical designer for creating CAD diagrams required for the production of crucial adapters. He said that they have obtained certain electromechanical subassemblies with an extended lead time. He mentioned that by establishing a new assembly line in their lab they can procure custom subassemblies from Regal Manufacturing and revamp their GeckoSPIO, a robot controller board. He added that with all these facilities their company has instigated the expansion of their CareBot robot trials.
