The aerospace technology consortium, Mundus Group has announced that the CEO of its subsidiary Air Drone, Justin Chapman has written the FAA manual on unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for the movie industry.
An UAV innovator, Justin Chapman has provided the guidelines to ensure safety in the movie industry along with compliance and operational regulations required for UAV- based cinematography delivery system using vertical take off and landing (VTOL) technology.
Hollywood blockbusters such as “Old Dogs” and “Race to Witch Mountain” stand testimony to Justin Chapman’s work on aerial cinematography. Chapman Aerospace has been actively involved in state of the art design, engineering and manufacture of electric zero emission drones for a number of payload settings in the Unmanned Air Vertical Take Off and Landing (UAVTOL) industry.
The Chairman of Mundus Group, Keith Field stated that the visionary growth and achievements of Justin Chapman as a great UAV innovator has enabled him to receive the title of UAV Safety Officer in the Hollywood movie industry. Field further explained that the coaxial-shrouded zero emission Mundus Air drone can quickly identify threats, allowing responses with minimal threat impact. Monitors comprising active and passive samplers developed by the company can scan water, air and soil for threats from radiological, biological, nuclear, chemical and explosive agents.
