Health Robotics has received the fifth Annual Edition of the Club Meccatronica Award. This award is presented to companies excelling in the field of mechatronics, a discipline which combines electrical, mechanical, and computer engineering.
The company will receive the award during the international seminar titled "Mechatronics 360°: How Mechatronics Technology Will Change Our Everyday Lives" which will be conducted at the Valli Theatre in Reggio Emilia.
According to the Executive Vice President of Health Robotics, Gaspar DeViedma, the company's CTO, Fabio Fioravanti was responsible for presenting its robots Cytocare, i.v.STATION ONCO, TPNstation and i.v.STATION to the selection panel. He also added the company has won all the global purchase contracts for intravenous sterile compounding robots within the last two years. The selection panel acknowledged the company's latest innovations such as the cancer therapy robot and the sterile compounding robots and its effective deployment.
Health Robotics specialises in the research and production of intravenous medication robots that are used for critical medical conditions. Over the past two years the company has deployed its robots and automated solutions to more than 200 hospitals across six continents. The company has helped hospitals to reduce medical error, wastage and costs by providing them with its intravenous medication robots and other solutions such as the MEDarchiver which is a clinical information system for life threatening condition and TPNstation which is a fully automatic parenteral nutrition system.
