Maryland Thermoform has announced that they will be taking part in the annual AUVSI Unmanned Systems North America 2011 Symposium; this year’s participation marks the fourth consecutive year of their participation.
The symposium is scheduled from the 16th to the 19th of August at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington. Around 450 exhibitors would be taking part in the symposium, more than 150 technical presentations are scheduled and over 6500 attendees are expected to visit the expo.
Scott MacDonald, the CEO of Maryland Thermoform, saw this as an opportunity for his company to showcase its capabilities to a large audience. The manager for the new business development at Maryland saw the expo as an excellent platform to meet their existing customers, earn new clients and to keep up with the latest advancements in the industry. These components are used in projects such as Shadow and other lightweight UAVs. The company has also successfully obtained the ISO-9001:2008 registration for design. They even cater to some of the Small Business requirements of the government agencies.
