Seegrid, a company that develops vision-guided robots, adds multiple improvements such as Back-Up, Route Transfer, and Route Progression and Modification in its 1.8 product release.
The recent release improves the strength of the company’s robotic industrial trucks that implement the vision-guided technology. It also renders customers high power and adaptability for controlling workflow processes and managing operations within the supply chain.
The Chief Executive Officer of the company, Scott Friedman, stated that these improvements will deliver more control and reliability, which in turn will lead to reduced costs and enhanced customer standards. He also added that the multiple enhancements will improve operational efficiency for customers.
The Route Progression and Modification feature offers maximum user adaptability by allowing robotic industrial truck routes to be designed upon existing ones. This feature also allows multiple end and start locations, thus improving throughput and lowering handling time by customers.
The Route Transfer feature reduces training time by enabling customers to duplicate the route. This feature helps in maintaining stability across the fleet and streamlining the processes, which is achieved by sharing similar intelligence across various vehicles and leaves no chance for variance or error.
The Back Up Maneuver feature allows the company’s robotic industrial trucks to move in limited spaces and narrow aisles. This feature can allow vehicles to do three-point turns in route. Customers can get a wide range of warehouse configurations to use and optimize with Seegrid trucks.
