‘Warehouse of the Future’ – Launch of New White Paper from Hai Robotics

Hai Robotics, pioneers in autonomous case-handling robot systems, today released a special report for the warehouse industry entitled ‘The Warehouse of the Future’, highlighting the benefits of warehouse automation, and outlining workforce challenges and sustainability.

This report seeks to paint a picture of the ideal warehouse of the future, based on insights from CEOs, CTOs, country managers, directors and academics with expertise in the fields of warehouse management, logistics and robotics. These experts shed light on the future of warehouse automation, the impact on workforces and sustainability, the risks facing the industry and the potential avenues for collaboration to drive forward progress.

Squeezed by the ongoing e-commerce boom and a global labour crisis, companies will need to adopt new technologies to boost fulfilment speed and accuracy at a time when adding people is no longer an option, the white paper says.

Case studies highlighted in the report show that accelerating the development of automated technologies has the potential to double capacity, increase storage density by 130% and improve putaway rates by up to 800%.

Commenting on the release of the white paper Brian Reinhart, Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Solutions at Hai Robotics said:

“Warehousing is undergoing a dramatic transformation as the age of automation enables ever more ingenious solutions. However, our report highlights the work that still needs to be done to maximise the potential of automation if technology like ours is to become accessible across the market.

The purpose of the whitepaper is to set out the steps the industry can take to overcome challenges and achieve positive advancements for the entire sector.

Topics covered include:

  • How warehouses will be designed in future
  • Who will work in warehouses in future
  • How warehouses will be sustainable in future

Hai Robotics is committed to providing flexible, intelligent, and efficient warehouse automation solutions through robotics technology and AI algorithms. It aims to create value for every factory and logistics warehouse.

Participants who shared their insight and expertise in the white paper include Clare Bottle, CEO of the UK Warehousing Association, Andrei Danescu, CEO of BotsAndUs, and Vaggelis Giannikas, Associate Professor at the University of Bath, as well as leading representatives of Hai Robotics engaged in strategy and sales.
