ISR to Present Cutting-Edge Research Topics on Robotics at Automate 2011

International Symposium on Robotics (ISR), an international robotics conference, is scheduled to take place at the Automate 2011, at McCormick Place in Chicago from March 21, 2011 to March 24, 2011. ISR will be held in the United States after a period of four years.

This conference will address topics such as the advancement in autonomous industrial mobile manipulators, the various innovative methods of assembling airplane and automotive parts, and real-time image processing of the human face for identification purposes. The conference will also deliver timely information about the tracking and moving objects with active visual serving.

The International Federation of Robotics is the sole sponsor of ISR. The ISR conference will  not be held in the US again till 2015. The Engelberger Robotics Awards will be presented to winners at the gala dinner of the annual ISR.

Jeff Burnstein, President of Robotic Industries Association, stated that knowledge about the latest innovations in robotics can be acquired by users and researchers from this conference.
