CoroWare declared that it has partnered with a private investor, ARICON, to launch a joint venture. ARICON is focused on creating and commercializing mobile robot platforms, solutions and applications for the construction industry.
The joint venture will primarily include:
- CoroWare that will provide the competence for mobile robotics development
- Lucas Snyder, a private investor that will offer construction industry expertise, proficiency and customer relationships.
Development of Computer Aided Architectural Design (CAAD) products and services has led to advancement ever since the 1960 period. The integrated expertise of ARiCON in construction and robotics has enabled meeting the emerging demand for Computer Aided Production (CAP) solutions, while focusing initially on the creation of robotic layout systems.
According to Lucas Snyder, since the 1960s, the construction industry has been successfully adopting Computer Aided Architectural Design. The initial product offering from ARiCON will bridge the gap between manufacture and design, ensuring the construction industry with a new sustainable potential. Based on a robotic layout system, ARiCON can cater to the design and production demand over the next six months. Following this, ARiCON will bring its product to the market in three consequent months.
According to the CEO of CoroWare, Lloyd Spencer, the company is delighted to achieve a joint venture with an investor who focuses on revolutionizing the commercial construction industry. CoroWare and ARiCON will collaborate together for improved operation, where the floor layout robotic solutions of ARiCON will promote fulfilling the efficiency and productivity challenges experienced by the construction industry.
