The unmanned aircraft technology will create advancement in commercial application, progressing with development expansion within the industry such as the public sector.

In the recent years, U.S. government organizations like the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) have deployed more and more unmanned systems. These systems ensure dynamic, on-the-ground information for maintaining vital national infrastructure economically, controlling vast natural resources and beyond. The Nova UAS has achieved regular stateside deployment for the USACE Jacksonville District, where it supports initiatives such as Regulatory Program, Invasive Species Program, Construction Monitoring, and the Everglades Restoration Program.

With increase in the government’s demand for precise geospatial data and high-resolution imagery, well-established companies like ISR Group and Altavian provide the government, the necessary technology and expertise. Following this partnership, the Nova UAS platform will be lucrative as it commences in-theater testing with Afghanistan-based USACE operations.

ISR Group focuses on providing ground robotics, unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as underwater inspection and recovery services. As an emerging firm, Altavian works on collecting high precision geospatial data via its unique UAS, benefiting engineering operations. ISR Group’s full-service training, maintenance, and technical capabilities, when integrated to Altavian’s Nova unmanned aircraft system ensure establishing a range of domestic and international operations.
