KoiReader Technologies, Inc. today announced general availability of its KoiVision™ Platform Yard Intelligence Suite, a full-stack Physical AI system bringing automated gate processing, continuous yard visibility, and dock-level execution intelligence to one of the least digitized nodes in the supply chain.
The Suite is engineered and trained in partnership with enterprise customers across Automotive, CPG, Food & Beverage, Paper & Packaging, Manufacturing, Retail & Hospitality, Intermodal & Ports, Chemical, and Logistics Service Providers – including production deployments at Fortune 50 companies across a 7M sq. ft. mission-critical operation – and built on a global dataset across Americas, Europe, LATAM, and APAC, spanning millions of Gate, Yard, and Dock events, augmented with synthetic data engineered to cover rare edge cases that live data alone rarely captures.
Despite advances in warehouse automation, the yard has remained largely manual: paper-based check-ins, disconnected systems, and limited visibility into trailer and asset location – with U.S. detention costs estimated at over $15 billion annually, according to the American Transportation Research Institute. KoiVision closes that gap with a single AI-native platform spanning gate entry, yard operations, and dock execution.
"The yard has stayed the most manual, least visible part of the supply chain because most vendors treat it as a software problem," said Ashutosh Prasad, Founder and CEO of KoiReader Technologies who quit his role as a Vice President at XPO Logistics to launch the company in July 2019. "We treat it as a Physical AI problem – hardware and software engineered together, trained across verticals and geographies rather than one customer at a time, so the platform works on day one at any gate, in any yard, in any weather. That's the difference between a point solution and infrastructure. The level of accuracy and rapid value we can deliver to our customers is something we are incredibly proud of, a big reason Fortune 50 corporations have selected us despite over $200M funding in this space with competitors."
The Suite is live across multiple production facilities spanning more than seven million square feet of yard, with a trucking capacity of 3,000 trailer and container positions – deployed without building out legacy RFID or BLE receiver grids. Customers report gains across multiple areas: touchless gate entry, multi-lane traffic management, Vision-AI-verified check-in and check-out; slot-level trailer and container accuracy across the yard; TMS, YMS, and ERP systems kept in sync from Purchase Order to Appointments to Invoice Settlement; and zero RFID or BLE or Drone infrastructure to install or maintain. The Suite is also being used by customers to augment visibility gaps in their existing RFID, BLE, and Drone-based Yard Asset Tracking Operations.
Nine Products, One Platform
KoiDriver – mobile app, QR-code, and Smart Tablet based gate automation. Driver, security, and logistics-approval apps on smart tablets, with geo-fenced remote check-in triggered by telemetry data, supporting appointment, pre-check, and just-in-sequence (JIS) workflows.
KoiKiosk – driver check-in with an AI kiosk. Document scanning and data validation against ERP, YMS, and TMS systems before a driver proceeds into the yard.
KoiGuard – Vision AI gate automation and trailer integrity. Vision-AI-led data capture, CTPAT-mandated inspection processes, and multi-lane throughput – complete with touchless, universal weigh-scale integration.
KoiRover – yard asset tracking, modular Vision AI. Yard mule-mounted hardware tracking trailers and containers to slot-level precision through continuous, high-frequency scans – without an RFID or BLE receiver grid or Drone infrastructure.
KoiConnect – integration with TMS, YMS, and ERP. Move management, appointment management, pre-checks, and FTZ rules validation, spanning the full lifecycle from purchase order to financial settlement.
KoiTwin – digital twin of the yard and industrial engineering for brownfield and greenfield facilities. Built from a full LiDAR scan of the campus – the base layer for slot-level precision mapping across paved and unpaved zones alike.
KoiAssist – AI orchestration agent that directs yard-mule movement to raise scan frequency without disrupting live operations.
KoiGPT – proprietary domain-specific LLM that all yard data feeds into, giving on-demand, natural-language access to Yard Efficiency analysis – without writing a query or a BI report.
KoiPass (upcoming release) – TSA Touchless Pre-Check / CLEAR-style gate check-ins for human-operated and autonomous trucks, using Telemetry, Voice, and Vision AI to authenticate trucks in 15 seconds at the Gate.
Built Across Verticals, Trained on the World
KoiVision's Vision AI models are co-developed with design partners across verticals, so the platform generalizes across trailer types, dock configurations, lighting, and weather rather than being tuned to a single site. As a NVIDIA partner, KoiReader trains and validates its models on a global dataset of gate, yard, and dock imagery, augmented with synthetic data pipelines that generate rare, hard-to-collect scenarios – extreme weather (Arizona to Alaska), unusual trailer configurations, low light – before they are ever seen in the field.
Extending the Platform: CTPAT and Telematics
For customers under Foreign Trade Zone rules or CBP oversight, the Suite extends into compliance and predictive readiness: CTPAT support automates the mandated tractor/trailer physical inspection with AI kiosk cameras, verifies high-security seals via the View-Verify-Touch-Tug (VVTT) method against the digital Bill of Lading, and logs an immutable chain-of-custody audit trail for CBP validation. Telematics integration bridges an inbound vehicle's GPS, OBD-II, and ELD data with the YMS ahead of arrival – triggering geo-fenced gate prep, touchless QR entry, and pre-entry checks on fuel, reefer temperature, and diagnostic trouble codes – architected through unified telematics/ELD aggregation platforms across 100+ vendors rather than one integration per carrier.
Designed for Enterprise Scale
As a full-stack Physical AI company, KoiReader designs both the proprietary modular edge hardware and the AI software powering the Suite in one platform spanning gate, yard, dock, and compliance – without replacing existing ERP, YMS, or TMS. The ruggedized hardware is available via a Hardware-as-a-Service (HaaS) model on an ecosystem including NVIDIA, Intel, and AMD, with KoiReader operating and maintaining it around the clock. KoiVision is trusted by Fortune 50 enterprises across multiple industry verticals.
